HugglePets In The Community
HugglePets in the Community a non-for-profit organisation, we offer a range of activities and therapy sessions, incorporating animals. These include Animal Assisted Therapy, Educational Workshops (Animal Welfare and the Environment) and coffee mornings with our animals as well as Corporate Workshops for team building. Through our animal therapy focused work, we support and work alongside individuals and groups to improve mental health, combat loneliness, challenge behavioural issues and promote psychological well being.
HugglePets in the Community have the UK’s first crowdfunded Community Aquarium and Sensory Activity Centre, the aquarium is a centre of tranquillity for people who suffer from autism or anxiety as is a quiet zone, with low lighting and colours that are useful to induce calm. The Sensory Activity Centre will be a hive of interactivity for exploring the senses, and we welcome all to explore with us!
