Indicated for species that in the wild consume a significant amount of fruits and seeds from oleaginous plants (genera Psitta-cus, Ara, Poicephalus…).
Daily intake ranges from 5 % to 8% of the animals body weight.
Medium-sized species (like the African Grey parrot), consume between 20 and 40 g.
Ambient temperature greatly influences intake.

Psittacus parrot foods are complete feeds that also contain all the necessary nutrients, vitamins and minerals needed to develop a healthy and normal life from the first moments of life to adulthood.
The optimal level of vitamins and antioxidants that then stimulate and protect the immune system, provide greater resistance to disease.

Formulated with the knowledge that a parrot can live many years (sometimes over 60 years) and food must be of the highest quality.
The formulas contain cereals, pulses, oilseeds, palm oil, soya, sunflower and linseed, dried fruit, dried flowers, sugar, dried egg, minerals, vitamins and also some product-improving additives.
Some of these additives are particularly important to mention – yucca extract and prebiotic (inulin), which aid complete digestion.
