  • Hay – and lots of it!

The rabbit’s digestive system is complex. It requires constant movement to prevent blockages within the gut. Hay plays a huge part is keeping a rabbit healthy. It is said that a rabbits diet should consist of 80-90% hay. We have a selection of hay options in-store and online, please see below for some options.  The Hay that we use is the Animal Dreams Bale of Hay, however it can be purchased in smaller bags via our website.

  • Pellet based dried food

Although your rabbit’s diet should consist of 80-90% hay, it is important that you mix it up a bit to keep your rabbit entertained. Alongside the hay, there should be a selection of dried pellet based food. The brand we use in-store is Harringtons Optimum Rabbit Nuggets. Each nugget contains all the nutrition a rabbit needs for a healthy diet.
