Arcadia Reptile EarthPro EarthMix-Arid can help greatly to supply some of the core minerals that reptiles assimilate in the wild through feeding and digging (geophagy), will support tunnel making when suitably hydrated, can be used in egg laying sites and can help enrichment via the natural movement of the body (natural resistance to the feet and legs via movement).

EarthMix Arid is the only choice for those keepers that wish to keep their animals ‘Bio-Actively’ and/or naturalistically.

1. 30% Volcanic Rock Dust – Includes 30% volcanic lava dust which has been added to the mix to not only aid with good drainage but to provide a higher mineral content as a full spectrum, ‘wild re-created’ substrate for animals from the more arid areas of the world, thus providing a considered option for those desert, or more arid species.
2. Safe To Use – Clean, safe to use, mineral-rich, well draining Bio-Active ready, naturalistic substrate which, unlike some substrates available on the market, has no non-natural particles that could lead to impaction. Having the correct mix ‘ratios’ between ‘Mineral’ and ‘Organics’ helps to support the vital custodian species used in Bio-Active systems.

4. Adaptable Humidity – Can be sprayed down regularly for those species requiring a little higher humidity, or you can just limit your misting to one area for species that come from drier environments, as this will create a small area of humidity should your reptile choose.
