A food supplement for all birds.

It contains both insoluble and soluble grit in the form of fine, specially selected gravel and oyster shell. Fine gravel is classed as insoluble grit, and this is essential for birds to maintain optimum digestion. The fine gravel stays in the gizzard to act as ‘teeth’, helping to grind down food. The oyster shell is classed as soluble grit. Once ingested, this supports the grinding action of food, and then gradually dissolves to provide a valuable source of calcium and minerals for your bird.

Good quality grit is an essential part of your bird’s diet and must be fed alongside a suitable and complete nutritional diet.

Suitable for all aviary, cage and tropical birds.

How to use: Can be given ad-lib. Your bird will naturally eat as much as they need.

Place the Beaphar Cana Grit in a separate bowl to your bird’s normal, complete nutritional food. The amount of Beaphar Cana Grit will be dependant on the size and number of birds you have.

Replenish the grit as necessary. Always have fresh drinking water available.
