Naturalistic Terrariums – Use as a base layer underneath Zoo Med’s Eco Earth compressed coconut fiber substrate (Sold separately) or other substrate to create an underground water table in naturalistic terrariums.

Increases Humidity – Add water to HydroBalls to create a natural “aquifer” and increase humidity levels for all tropical species!

Live Plants – Provides an excellent substrate for live plant root growth in naturalistic terrariums.

Build A Waterfall – Add a water pump to the HydroBalls layer to create a waterfall and generate water flow through HydroBalls for optimum filtration.
