Ember Tetra –
One of the smallest fish available in the hobby, rarely reaching above 2-2.5cm, and has only been seen on sale in the trade fairly recently.
A colourful species that will brighten up any tank, contrasting well against plants and decor. Mature fish become a bright colour varying from copper to orange-red, hence their common name of ‘Ember’, or in some cases ‘Fire Tetra’.
Like other small tetras, these are shoaling fish so must be kept in a group.
