You can use the HabiStat Daylight Spot Lamp to create a basking area of high, localised heat.
A reptile day light spot lamp will surely provide an intense beam of light and heat which the animal can quickly warm itself.
Designed to concentrate the heat in a small local area and not designed to heat the whole vivarium.
The lamp Wattage should also be chosen to match the appropriately rated holder, the size of cage, type of animal being heated and the temperature required.
Also, you should always use a Dimming HabiStat thermostat to control the temperature.
